Mothers Matter postponed
I want to begin by expressing my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support of our mission to help homeless single mothers and their families. Your commitment is the driving force behind our efforts. We deeply appreciate your involvement! Mothers Matter is one of our biggest fundraisers each year and was originally scheduled for September 15th.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, covid concerns and a drive to make this incredibly successful, we felt it was in the best interest for our moms, attendees and Gilead House to hold off until next year. While this news is undoubtedly disappointing, please understand our dedication to our mission is steadfast. We actively explore alternative ways to continue our support for the homeless single moms and their families we serve.
How can you continue to help?

-
Spread the Word: Share our mission and goals with your friends, family, colleagues and community. Raising awareness is a powerful way to gather support.
-
Stay Informed: Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for updates about future events and opportunities to get involved. We also do press releases.

How is rescheduling Mother’s Matter a positive thing?
We are so grateful to our new team in charge of Mother’s Matter. There are some really great changes to this event. I’m super excited for everything everyone is doing. From our planning committee and the board of directors to the videographer, MC, volunteers, caterer, venue, support staff, local musicians, florist and others involved; we are all excited to showcase this event for you in the spring. As soon as we have the date and confirmed details, we will let you know. We absolutely believe you’re going to love it.
I regret any inconvenience postponement may cause and appreciate your understanding. The well-being of our single moms and their children we serve remains our top priority. We always find new ways to support them. If you would like more information about how to continue to support our mission, please reach out to me at carries@gileadhouse.org. Once again, thank you for your unwavering support. Together, we make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Very truly yours,
Carrie Scrimshire, Executive Director
