Thanks to so many wonderful generous donations, Jeannine and her daughter are settled into their new home. Gilead House families, staff and volunteers.

Thank you to Pine Ridge Winery and Merrilee and Ed Turley for donating two tons of olives for our harvest. We had 85 people come out on a glorious day to help us harvest them all.  We also wish to thank Frantoio Restaurant and Olive Oil company in Mill Valley for crushing the olives and turning them into oil for us. Many thanks to everyone who made this event so successful.

Monday, the Bregante + Co CPA firm sent 7 employees to the new Gilead House property to clean up the yard as we make way for our expansion. They were worker bees and the whole front of the house has been transformed. Not only did they remove all the weeds, they took down some small trees and massive shrubs. They gathered 4 truck loads of green debris + 30 large black bags of green debris. Cynthia Klock and I left with one truck load each. It was very exciting to spend the morning with them. I know we can count on them driving by to see expansion take more shape in the next year.

We are very grateful to the hard and cheery work by the Bregante team: Jeff Belingheri, Gina Brekhus, Tina Gorgizian, Ted Kredjovsky, Mimi Pak, Ken Preston and Tonia Wasley. This was our first experience with Week of Caring and we are hoping it will be an annual reunion.
